Many people in our communities are suffering right now. MAVA is raising funds to provide services and supplies for people served by Union Gospel Mission and Volunteers Enlisted for Assistance to People (VEAP). These two organizations are MAVA members and are vital partners in addressing unmet community needs. People hardest hit by COVID rely on these two organizations as their lifeline for food, supplies, shelter, and other essential services.
You can choose to support VEAP, Union Gospel, or both! Funds will be used to provide volunteer engagement and race equity consulting and training to these organizations, as well as the distribution of essential supplies for the people served. You may prefer to donate to a general fund or even to join one of our sustainability societies.
