"When I learned about MAVA, I signed up right away, and then the Volunteer Impact Leadership Training (VILT) was coming up in January. It's been a lifesaver. I just had this total paradigm shift, even in the concept that we can't just go get a bunch of volunteers, if we haven't assessed the capacity of our organization yet."

It's really been not only practically helpful with a number of things, but the VILT training has also helped me actually understand conceptually what I'm doing. Everything's been so helpful from MAVA."

-Leah Welch, Volunteer Program Director at Episcopal Homes

We offer unparalleled leadership, training, conferences, and networking opportunities. MAVA is the leading voice for volunteerism in Minnesota, working to increase awareness of our profession and resources for leaders of volunteers.

What is the difference between an individual and organizational membership?

The primary difference between Individual Memberships and Organizational Memberships is the number of people listed on the membership.

Organizational memberships have one individual as the primary member of the account and other people are listed as secondary members. Organizational memberships often allow organizations to register their staff together for paid events.
