MAVA’s Response and Resources for COVID-19

Karmit Bulman, Executive Director | Published on 3/12/2020

Dear MAVA Community,

MAVA staff and board wish to provide support to each of you as we address challenges we face as a result of COVID-19. We are balancing health concerns with the importance of providing our members with support, connection, and resources.

Yesterday, MAVA shared tips and tools for nonprofits and volunteer engagement leaders to prepare your organization’s volunteers for COVID-19.

As of today, all MAVA March trainings and events will be conducted by conference calls and webinars except for the When Pigs Fly - Members Only MAVA Mixer on Thursday, March 26th. This event is postponed until further notice.

We will do our best to promote social distancing. We invite you to register for our upcoming events knowing that many of them will now be held by teleconference or a web-based platform.

MAVA is committed to providing services and resources at this time. We will continue to monitor the MN Department of Health and Center for Disease Control recommendations and adjust accordingly. We are here to serve you and at the same time, we will follow all recommended health and safety guidelines.

Sincerely,

Karmit Bulman,Esq.

and MAVA Staff

Executive Director, MAVA
