MAVA Staff thank you for helping us make 2022 a year to remember. We hosted two outstanding conferences, bringing in speakers and participants from all over the United States. We continued to deepen our race equity in Volunteerism Work, and delivered cutting edge trainings to enthusiastic audiences. We certified and recertified several service enterprise organizations, and helped dozens of organizations increase their impact by placing AmeriCorps members in capacity building roles. We hosted district council meetings, and MAVA connections in an effort to build connection and community. We held affinity groups for both BIPOC and white allies as we work together to dismantle inequities in volunteerism. We continue to research trends in Volunteerism and will release a report addressing new recruitment challenges. Our volunteerism Bill received widespread bipartisan support, and we are in a good position for passage in 2023. We ended the year with significant financial support from the federal government, which will increase volunteer generation for student success across the state.
