As a volunteer engagement leader, you might be apprehensive or tentative about work-related conflicts: conflicts between volunteers and staff, volunteers and volunteers, and volunteers and participants. However, addressing conflict and problem solving are key strategies necessary to be successful in your role. To increase your chances of success, equip yourself with new tools that will enhance your ability to be an effective advocate and even better communicator. In this interactive workshop, you will learn to lead by sharpening your conflict resolution skills. You will achieve better outcomes by learning negotiation strategies, improving working relationships and resolving seemingly intractable disputes. You will leave this workshop with a better understanding of your personal conflict resolution style and specific areas where you can intentionally make changes for greater results.
