Volunteer Generation Fund Grant Awarded

MAVA is excited to share the news that we have been approved for a fourth year of federal grant funding from the Volunteer Generation Fund (VGF).

The VGF grant, from the Corporation for National and Community Service, provides support to strengthening and expand volunteering across the country.

Along with our grant partners, ServeMinnesota and HandsOn Twin Cities, MAVA will utilize the grant funds to support delivery of the Service Enterprise Initiative as well as other trainings that prepare organizations to effectively engage skill based volunteers.

In addition, the VGF grant will allow MAVA to award $15,000 sub-grants to three volunteer connector organizations in Minnesota. We look forward to continuing the great work that VGF grants have made possible over the past three years!
