Professional Development

Professional Development events are educational opportunities for anyone interested.  We hold 3 events on non-conference years in the months of February, May, and August.  During conference years there is no professional development day in May.  Topics are requested by other attendees and coordinated by the MAVA Education Committee.  Past topics have included conflict resolution, leadership, international perspectives on volunteer management, ethics and more!  Cost is typically $40 per member and $60 for non-member.  For suggestions on locations, topics, presenters, please email office@mavanetwork.org.
